Granzella Inc. is pleased to announce the "1st R-Type Final 2 & 3 Best Pilot Championship" as the sci-fi shooter "R-Type Final 2" celebrates its second anniversary on April 29, 2023.
Competition mode (Stage R1.0) of "R-Type Final 2" and "R-Type Final 3" will be used.
It is a two-person team competition, with the winner determined by the high score of the team members.
For the inaugural edition of this event, only the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5* versions of the game will be used in order to achieve standardized hardware performance.
* "R-Type Final 3 Evolved" is scheduled for release on PlayStation 5 in March 2023.
The winner will receive the "Winner-exclusive R-craft" usable in the game, and entrants in the main round will be given an "Entrant-exclusive pilot suit". In addition, all entrants to this event will get an "Entrant-exclusive decal" as a participation prize!
*The prizes can be used on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions of the game.
